Emily Apollonio, human factors expert, CrossFit coach, and analog astronaut, founded Interstellar Performance Labs in 2022 – the world’s first company focused specifically on human performance training for astronauts and analog astronauts. She is passionate about helping individuals and crews break through physical and mental barriers to help them achieve what use to be a dream of one day reaching the stars. Emily is the lead curriculum author of the Stellar Training for Astronaut Readiness (STAR) program which focuses on physical performance, mental fitness, team dynamics, and human factors. Her candidates develop the skills, knowledge, and attributes that are most desirable for astronauts and analog astronauts, unlocking more opportunities and mission success.
